Major League Baseball’s 2023-24 offseason is in full swing. With every player dreaming of the big time, the list of players who have received qualifying offers has been revealed.
On Sunday (July 7), ESPN revealed the names of seven players who received qualifying offers. They are all top-tier free agents.

They now have until this afternoon, May 15, to accept or decline their qualifying offers. The qualifying offers are for one year and $20.32 million.
Given the quality of the players on this list, it seems very unlikely that anyone will accept the qualifying offer. They’re all looking for the big payday.
Other notable players who didn’t receive qualifying offers include Jorge Soler, Teoscar Hernandez, Reece Hoskins, and Mitch Garber.
One player who stands out among the qualifying offers is Bellinger. Just a year ago, he was released by the Los Angeles Dodgers, but now he has risen to the level of a qualifying offer candidate.
The most sought-after player is Ohtani, who has already booked his best offer yet. There’s a lot of interest in which team he’ll wear.
