Moreno’s final hit helps AZ beat Philadelphia and start NLCS game

The Major League Baseball (MLB) Arizona Diamondbacks have brought the ‘fall baseball’ game back to square one. Arizona came from behind to win 6-5 in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series (NLCS, 4 wins out of 7) against the Philadelphia Phillies held at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, USA on the 21st (Korean time).

Arizona thus tied the series with Philadelphia at 2 wins and 2 losses. Arizona turned the game around.

Arizona took the lead. In the bottom of the second inning, Emmanuel Rivera hit a timely hit to score the first run. Additional points were also added.

In the bottom of the third inning, Gabriel Monero hit a timely hit to take a 2-0 lead. However, Philadelphia began chasing with a home run.

In the top of the 4th inning, leadoff hitter Kyle Schwarber hit a solo shot to score a run, and in the top of the 5th inning, Braden Marsh hit a timely hit to level the score at 2-2.

Philadelphia, which brought the trend, did not miss the opportunity to load the bases with no outs in the top of the sixth inning. Alec Bohm’s infield hit and Arizona’s defensive error resulted in two runs to take the lead to 4-2.

In the top of the 7th inning, Trea Turner hit a sacrifice fly to make it 5-2. But Arizona did not sit still.

Christian Walker, who came to the plate with bases loaded and 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th inning, picked up a walk and earned one run. And the game was turned around in the bottom of the 8th inning.

Alec Thomas, who came to the plate as a pinch hitter with one out and one on first base, hit the 6th pitch after a battle with Philadelphia closing pitcher Craig Kimbrel to a full count, creating a two-run home run that went over the right wall.

Arizona, balanced at 5-5, continued its momentum. With 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd base, Moreno once again hit a timely hit to bring the score back to 6-5.

Philadelphia, which took the lead, brought closer Paul Seawald to the mound in the top of the 9th inning. SeaWorld hit a double from Schwarber with two outs, but struck out Turner, the follow-up hitter, and preserved their team’s victory.먹튀검증
