‘PBA card rival for win-win?’ NH Nonghyup’s regular victory celebration, Hana was happier

In the PBA Team League, Hana Card and SK Rent-a-Car got on board the last postseason (PS) train. NH Nonghyup Card won the overall regular season title, and Hana Card grabbed a thrilling round title.

Hana Card beat Hi-One Resort on the final day of the fifth round of the “Welcome Savings Bank PBA Team League 2023-24” held at KINTEX PBA Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province on Sunday. The Korean team won four to three games after a close game in full set.

It dramatically won the fifth round. Hana Card initially had to secure three points against High1 Resort to win the title on its own. However, it was uncertain whether it would advance to the PS, as it only gained 20 points. However, Hana Card smiled as Crown Haitai, who was vying for the title in the round, lost to NH Nonghyup Card in the last game of the day.마카오토토도메인

Hana Card had six wins, two losses and 16 points in the fifth round. It beat SK Rent-A-Car (15 points) and Crown Haitai (14 points) to win the last round, and secured a ticket to PS.

In this season’s team league, the winners of five rounds will advance to the PS. Hana Card filled seats at NH Nonghyup Card (Round 1 and 3), SY (Round 2), and Crown Haitai (Round 4).

The MVP of the fifth round went to Kim Ga-young. Kim Ga-young led Hana Card to victory with nine wins, five losses and 64.3 percent of the eight games in the fifth round.

SK Rent-A-Car won the remaining one card as NH Nonghyup Card’s round victory overlapped. If the round wins overlap, SK Rent-A-Car ranked third to determine the team that advanced to PS based on its overall regular season performance. NH Nonghyup Card and Crown Haitai, which rank first and second overall in the season, have already confirmed their move to PS with round wins.

Blue One Resort, the defending champion, ended up in fourth place overall with a three-point gap, failing to advance to PS. Blue One Resort lost to Welcome Savings Bank three to four on the day. If Crown Haitai had grabbed NH Nonghyup Card and gained three points, Blue One Resort, which is ranked fourth overall this season, could have made it to PS but failed.

As a result, a match against PS has also been decided. NH Nonghyup Card, the No. 1 player in the regular season, will directly advance to the playoff A to face the semi-PO winner between Hana Card (No. 4) and SY (No. 6). The semi-PO will be held from Friday (Game 1) to Sunday (Game 2 and 3).

The PO A competition will be held from May 20 to May 25, with Crown Haitai (2nd) and SK Rent-A-Car (3rd) competing for the title. The winning team of the PO will compete for the title in the final of the best-of-seven series from May 25 to May 28. PS schedules can be pushed forward depending on series.
